Two schools of thought.
One says “never increase your distance or time by more than 10% of the previous week.”
As Runner’s World states.
Another refutes this almost directly. As seen here. Of course, this opinion comes from what reads to be an absolute MONSTER of a runner, in terms of weekly / session distances.
I have chosen a middle ground, adding Bridge weeks into the Learn to Run program. Having suffered an injury in “Week 6” (April) and being injured right now in “Week 8” (September), I am led to lean more toward the cautious and conservative.
