Thursday October 3rd. Color Me Rad is on Saturday October 5th.
This is the first test of my distance-based replacement program for the Learn To Run.
300m of running, 200m of walking, in each interval. Ten intervals. The pace numbers are really solid. There was discomfort in the ankles during the run, but less than usual and offset by stretching afterwards and the application of an ice-pack.
Including the distance to and from home before/after the 10-round intervals, this was an 8km loop. Good pre-load stress test in advance of the Color Me Rad. Now it’s just a matter of how I feel come “game day”.
